Sleeping Arrangements
Trail Magic Chalet comfortably sleeps 10. Distinct upstairs and downstairs sleeping areas make it especially useful for two families, one extended family, or several couples.

Eagles Nest
Three twin beds
Two twin beds plus a twin trundle, reached by a ship's ladder from the second floor and best suited to capable climbers. A unique 360 degree view out of 16 windows truly make you feel like you're in the treetops.
Walk-out lower level
Two private bedrooms
One bedroom has a queen bed, while the other has a full bed and bunk beds. This level also includes a modern full bathroom with an accessible walk-in shower, laundry, and direct access to the walkout deck and hot tub.
Fully Renovated Downstairs Master Bathroom
Fully renovated in May 2025, the downstairs master bathroom features a spacious all-glass walk-in shower, new flooring, a new cabinet and fixtures, and modern finishes.
Amenities for an Easy Stay
From a well-stocked kitchen for group meals to separate spaces where kids can play and adults can unwind, the chalet is ready for a relaxed, comfortable stay. Guest feedback shapes the chalet. We listen closely and appreciate every suggestion; many amenities and improvements have been added in direct response to what guests told us would make their stays easier and more comfortable.
A Kitchen Made for Gathering
Guests consistently call out how well the kitchen is stocked. A recent guest called it “The kitchen was very well appointed - perhaps the best utensils/cooking accoutrement I have seen in a rental.” Rather than filling the cabinets with whatever was on hand, we chose coordinated cookware, dinnerware, glassware, and serving pieces as sets, then arranged everything deliberately so groups can cook, serve, and gather with ease. Practical prep tools and small appliances cover everything from morning coffee to a slow-cooked dinner. Bring the groceries your group enjoys and settle in to cook together.
The kitchen features stainless steel appliances installed new in 2021, including an icemaker in the freezer. A 2024 renovation added painted cabinets, quartz countertops, a large copper sink, and a new island. The adjoining dining area has a rustic table with seating for gathering over meals.

No glassware in the hot tub. Please use the plastic drinkware provided, and supervise children in the hot tub at all times.

Dogs Welcome
Dogs are welcome for a $65 fee. As dog owners ourselves, we provide an optional large crate, dog bowls, dog towels, and treats. Dogs are the only pets allowed at Trail Magic Chalet.

Parking & Access
- Parking at the chalet accommodates 2 large or 3 small vehicles.
- 4WD or AWD is required in winter conditions. All-season tires alone do not provide sufficient traction; winter tires and chains are highly advised.
- The neighborhood is gated, and most roads are gravel. Drive slowly and avoid spinning your wheels.
